As an agency we take a 15% Commission, Have NO additional Fees, NO management fees, NO administration fee's and only get paid when YOU do from jobs which WE find.
We DO have a £70.00 annual photographic publication fee to keep your profile updated online, This is a One Off Payment and works out at less than £6 per month! This is only charged if we can guarantee an assignment of any kind within the first 30 days else we will urge you to re-apply again within 6 months.
We DO NOT offer FREE portfolio shoots however we do offer EDITORIAL shoots if you fit the brief. Please remember to maintain a strong portfolio at all times in order to keep you ahead within the modelling industry.

Modelling Terms...
"Editorial Shoot" - Unpaid, A collaboration between the WHOLE team. The Photographers, Makeup Artists, Designers, Stylists all give up their time to work with models to shoot something incredible. This will then be put forward to magazines once we have seen the results and we can match it to styles of magazines. - We do not gain anything from this financially and do it to grow models portfolios and become stronger as an agency. This takes place twice a month for the benefit of the models and upcoming creatives.
"Test Shoot" - Usually Called "TFP" which stands for Time for Print, Meaning you will be giving your time in return for images. This will be unpaid and a collaboration between models and photographers. In your modelling career you will receive many offers for TFP but this can sometimes do more harm than good if you have a poor photographer. Please check portfolios before agreeing to anything and everything.
"Portfolio Shoot" - Just like your CV, It's vital to keep this updated and in both print and digital, Your Portfolio represents you as a model and the better your portfolio from the start, the easier it is to find work. This is a competitive industry and there will always be another model right behind you.
When visiting a client or model manager ensure you are able to show a portfolio of 8 images.
CHAPERONE
Someone who attends with you on a job, This could be a friend, family member or a professional. Please remember that this industry is competitive and not always safe. If you have never met the photographer / client before please put your safety first and attend the role with a chaperone.
APPLYING TO AN AGENCY
Many agencies receive dozens of applications each day from aspiring models, It's highly unlikely that a reputable agency will approach you via social media, If you have been approached but you are unsure it is genuine please visit the agency website and call or email the head office. Remember it's okay to ask questions.. This is YOUR future.
PAYMENT WITH DREAM STREET
Dream Street Models are paid via bank transfer 7 days after the event into the account details which are provided. This may vary for international jobs, Please arrange with your booker.

BEAUTY SHOT
A clean head shot with excellent make-up and simple hairstyle. A beauty shots shows your face in an elegant and beautiful manner. No big hair, no heavy jewellery or anything that distracts from your skin, bone structure and overall features.
CALL BACK
A second audition or meeting with the client so they can see you again before they make a final hiring decision.
CASTING
A casting is an event where a client or agency require to see you before making a decision, We can only talk about the "Generalisation" of a casting however most require you to have NO makeup and NO hair products and have a natural look. You will be required to wear a plain coloured t-shirt and jeans with HEELS. It is also good for you to take a second pair of shoes with you to wear to and from the venue such as flat shoes.
COMMERCIAL MODEL
Commercial models can be any age, any size and any height. Commercial models can do everything that isn't normally associated with high-fashion, such as product ads (housewares, food products, travel industry, tech devices, and the list goes on).

Fashion pages of a magazine that are produced by the magazine itself to portray current trends, clothing and fashion ideas. Editorial work does not pay as well as commercial print which is work done for an actual paying client.

Fit models used by designers and fashion houses, usually on a regular basis. A fit model would have the perfect measurements that fit industry standards. Can be any size and are not required to have the facial bone structure required by to be a print model.

A collection of photos taken of models wearing a designer or manufacturers clothing that is sent out to fashion editors, buyers, clients and special customers to show the designer's looks for the season.
MOTHER AGENT
A mother agent is the person or agency that initially discovered you. A mother agent will help you develop your look, build your book and market you to major and secondary markets. A mother agent is an important part of your team and can help you navigate the various markets and manage your career long term.
Mother Agents Only Get Paid When You Do.
RUNWAY/CATWALK MODEL
Runway/Catwalk models do live runway shows, showrooms and other types of jobs where a designer or client needs the model to walk and show their clothing.
Female runway/catwalk models are a minimum of 5' 9" without heels.
Male runway/catwalk models are a minimum of 6' 0" - 6' 2"
STATS
The models statistics such as height, bust, waist, hips. For men it is height, chest and waist. Modelling agencies vary rarely, if ever, use weight as a measurement.
TEARSHEET
A tear-sheet is an actual page from a magazine, catalogue or other print job in which the model has worked.

Your social media account says a lot about the type of person you are and could possibly determine whether or not you secure the job. When using your social media account remember that you don't know who is seeing your posts and that anything which maybe seen as offensive may go against you.
It's also important to remember that these days it is SO easy to connect with like-minded people and SO easy to contact business owners through social media. When contacting potential agencies and clients, remember to firstly remain professional and secondly contact them as if you would be sending a letter or email. No potential client or agency want's to read your email at 11pm on a Saturday night if you have sent them ????? or have not paid any attention to a previous casing positive which covers all the vital information. You wouldn't be able to visit your Favourite high street retailer after their closing time so it's also important to respect the closing times of on-line businesses and business owners.
